Who is eligible?
All employees at MBDA, including graduates and apprentices, when starting with us are required to hold a default BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) check and.UK Security Clearance (as required for the role).
To obtain this, you must meet the MBDA and the UK Government’s eligibility criteria, which typically includes:
- Having UK or UK dual nationality (with proof of this and any naturalisation, rescindment and overseas travel cards or ID provided)
- Having the right to work in the UK (usually a UK passport, birth certificate or visa)
- Having lived in the UK for the past 5 years (with details of travel outside of the UK in excess of 28 days)
If your application is successful, we will check your eligibility by reviewing documents such as your birth certificate, passport, current address and educational certificates. You will also need to complete medical clearance. For more information, visit our security and vetting page.
If the security requirement has not been met for the role, you will be informed. There is no requirement in law to inform a candidate seeking to work with or in support of MBDA, why they have been refused, if the decision has been made on security grounds.
